Indie Birth is a online publication and a 'zine' that is published by Maryn Leister...who is also the pregnancy editor for BellaOnline. Indie Birth's propose is "to fire up the minds of modern-day mamas, so that they are inspired, educated and aware of all the choices surrounding them concerning their pregnancies and births."

Maryn contacted me after reviewing my book for BellaOnline (a review that I am so proud of) and asked if she could publish it in Indie Birth also. Of course I am thrilled. Zaida Baby supports the Poster Boy Campaign

For a great cause!

The 105.3 Kool FM Poster Boy Campaign is now underway. Get involved to help raise money for The Grand River Regional Cancer Centre. You can make donations at the Poster Boy location...in front of the Grand River Hospital, or on-line here.

The annual Poster Boy auction is being held at Conestoga Mall tomorrow, Saturday April 26th from noon until 5pm in the centre court area. Hundreds of items are being auctioned at amazing prices, and the best part is that all of the money raised will go directly to The Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.

Zaida Baby and Blue Skies Yoga

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Janine Keller, owner of Blue Skies Yoga over the past few months. She invited me into her prenatal yoga class where I sat amongst her "goddess's" and enjoyed the relaxation these mom-to-be's had come to experience. This was my first introduction to yoga, and I have to say that I certainly enjoyed it. The class finished with a palm full of cream to massage onto my belly and then a group reading from "My First Keepsake". When Janine asked me to do a book reading with her class I was thrilled. It was a great opportunity to talk to these mothers about the power of prenatal bonding and to share my "baby" with them. I have already been back once to talk to a new prenatal class, and I look forward to classes to come!
